The robot had a ground short in a thruster. The relays that they would have ordinarily used to cut out that part of the circuit failed, so we had to cut power and pull up the robot at 0200.

The sky has been really clear lately, so we’ve started a little star-gazing club. I can now find pegasus … and a couple other new constellations I’ve already forgotten the names of. When I did SEA Semester, I spent most of my time staring at the stars in the southern hemisphere – so this is a nice change.

I’m so ready to get off this boat and spend some time on land. I want to go climbing and run around and dance and listen to music really loud and watch TV and go to bed whenever I feel like it and eat food that I choose and all those other fun land things.
